Thank you to everyone that has been a part of my life.
Thank You Steven
Thank you, Steven, for everything you do. Even though you don’t hear this as much as you should, thank you so much for being a part of my life and being the best brother in the world. You are such an inspiration to me. When asked who I look up to, without hesitation, I answer “My brother, Steven.” You may not have liked school but in the end, you realized your mistakes and learned from them. You went to college and worked hard to pursue a career that you love. You went to school nearby and took a job at night to ensure that your siblings were picked up on time from school. You have helped in so many ways, from helping with our homework to paying for our school clothes and anything we needed. When we had award ceremonies and you could go, you went even though you could be using your free time another way. You have shown me music that you would listen to when you were in school and now I listen to them constantly. When I grow up, I want to be like you because I want to be able to attend college and engage in a work environment that I enjoy going to. If you ever have a book wrote about your life, you can guarantee that I composed it. You have accomplished so much in your life, from attending a college and getting your degree to being promoted quicker than most employees at your job. You have always shown a role model image for everyone. Even on bad days, you still can joke around and make everyone laugh. I don’t know what I would do without you in the world. You are my other half.

Thank You Mom
Thank you for everything that you have done for me. Thank you, Mom, for supporting me when I wanted to join clubs and do tryouts for teams. You supported me when I wanted to try out for drill team. When I didn’t make it, you comforted and supported me. The next week when I wanted to try out for color guard, you are the one that believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. Thanks to you, now I am a part of Schurr High School’s color guard team. You have always helped me through problems whether it’s about what classes to take or about what to wear for my interview. When I have potlucks or events, you are the first to volunteer to go or help make something for it. It bothers me when you don’t get recognition for all these things you do or when others try to take credit for your actions. You are the reason that I’m able to do these events and not have to worry about having enough money for food. You are the one that makes sure I eat and never go starving. Never think that life would be better without because it wouldn’t. I don’t know how I would survive in this world without you. You have blessed me with a wonderful family and memories that I wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. Remember that I love you. Thank you for raising me to be the person I am today.

Thank You to My Colorguard Team
Thank you to my color guard team that has made me more confident than I have ever been. Before trying out I was coming out of my shell and becoming more confident. When I tried out for color guard, I became so confident in everything that I did. Not only did I become more confident in myself, but I gained a new family. They are the best and I love each and every one of them. Even though we argue, we all love each other to the moon and back. Thank you for helping me through my first field season. I’ve only done academic activities and nothing like this. You guys have become my second family.
