Meet the 2017 Team for Field Season!

On Oct. 7, the Schurr High Spartan Legion received No. 1 in High Visual effects and high General effects. We are also Tournament Champions! I am so proud of every single one of my Spartan Legion family. Our hard work was displayed and showcased. Even though we won, we must follow the inspirational words of our director, Antonio Castro, “Remember who you are and where you came from.” We may move on to do special things in the future but we must never forget where we came from and everyone that helped us get there. We all start somewhere, well, we started here in Montebello California. Yes, we won and got a title of Tournament Champions, but we all know that we could always do better. ” Good is the enemy of great.” I want to take this time to thank all the parents that volunteer to help us in these crazy competition days. Thank you, no matter whether you are a freshman parent or alumni parent that helps, you are appreciated greatly.
